Building Power to BIPOC Communities

Preparing for September Month Of Service
Preparing for September Month Of Service

As PARTI begins to shift our activities to empower youth as they return back to school and transforming lives of youth who suffer from bullying, trauma and depression this fall through our Annual Bullying Prevention Event (Oct.20), we are mindful that youth, families, and communities will need additional support understanding the ramifications of the new and recent Affirmative Action decisions in our Country (USA). PARTI understands that we could not have the impact that we have in underserved communities, so we must first take the time to thank you for those who contribute to our mission and share with youth the results of our 3rd quarter and previous GlobalGiving Campaign:

This is what we were able to accomplish this year:

Results of April Little By Little Campaign (April 2-7 2023): Total Raised - $40,296, # of donors: 528

Purpose: create opportunities to build youth power in communities affected by the negative impact of Covid-19.

Impact April- June 2023

Total number of youth empowered to lead:  198

Youth summer jobs created: 5

Total number of adults who have served: 81

Schools represented: 20

Total: 807

We define opportunities as inclusion for youth living in underserved and low-income communities, partner with community organizations and diverse groups, and co- develop strategies with youth to provide inclusive voice and action plans to create mindful and inclusive community members that engage collectively in community and power-building. By doing so, PARTI addresses our community's social problems by: Deepen our understanding of our organization's role within the South Bay and Peninsula to elevate youth voice and shape power ecosystem. Developing a shared vision for youth voice and supporting them power in policy deciscon making locally, in the region, statewide, and nationally. Prioritizing our core program and operational strategies that include key milestones for building youth voice & power. Build relationships that continue to strengthen and connect organizations who build opportunities for strengthing community powerbuilding in BIPOC communities.
