We support over 9,400 children who have lost parents due to the war in Ukraine, with 10-20 more joining daily. A key part of our work is organizing camps that offer relaxation and stress relief, fostering a supportive environment for these children.
1,648 children and their guardians have attended our camps in Ukraine and abroad. In 2024, 375 children participated, and 1,275 in 2023. The growing demand highlights the need for continued support.
One family’s story exemplifies the profound impact of our camps.
Olga, a 36-year-old mother, and her children Tamila (15), Tymofiy (13), and Andriyko (8) suffered greatly after the father died on July 27, 2023 during a combat mission. The children, especially Tamila and Tymofiy, faced significant stress.
Our foundation provided extensive support to this family, including educational, medical, and humanitarian aid. Crucially, we addressed the children's need for psychological relief by facilitating their participation in a camp. Tymofiy, who had been reluctant to interact with peers, began to socialize and make friends after the camp. He now engages with peers at home, demonstrating significant improvement in his emotional well-being. The children shared numerous positive stories from their camp experience with their mother, highlighting the camp's positive impact on their lives.
The increasing number of children wishing to attend our camps underscores the necessity of our mission. Our camps provide essential emotional support, new friendships, and a sense of normality for children affected by war. We urgently seek your support to continue offering these life-changing experiences.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these children.
