This summer, our camps once again became safe spaces where children could reconnect with joy, friendship, and play.
For Children of Heroes, camp is not just recreation. It is emotional recovery.
40 camp sessions were organized across different regions this season, welcoming 1,336 participants in total — 1,105 children and 231 guardians.
We intentionally matched each child to a camp based on age, emotional needs, and interests. Children attended:
Impact we observed:
improved emotional stability
new friendships and social reintegration
restored motivation for learning
decreased anxiety
more self-confidence in communication
Most importantly — smiles returned.
Children told us they finally “felt like kids again.”
Although the summer season has ended, our work continues. The demand for camp-based recovery remains high, and we are already preparing new sessions.
Every donation makes this possible.
Thank you for helping restore childhood where it was stolen.
