Hello friends,
Wishing you a prosperous Year of Snake. Thank you for your continued support!
As we kick off the new year, we already have many exciting developments to share! We’ve partnered with DHL Express Hong Kong and Redress alumni designer Angus Tsui to upcycle retired DHL uniforms into fashionable accessories. Angus transformed items like waterproof jackets, raincoats, cargo trousers, and quilted liners into stylish, functional pieces. Check out the collection here for pre-order — all profits will go directly to Redress.

Our Takeback Programme has seen a remarkable increase in public participation. Last year, we collected 55 tonnes of clothing from our Takeback partners, a significant rise from 28.9 tonnes in 2023! Of this, 30 tonnes were distributed to over 20 Hong Kong-based charity partners according to their needs. This year, we aim to expand our partnerships with more retailers, making it easier for the public to donate unwanted clothing to Redress at accessible locations.
Redress is committed to providing educational workshops in schools across Hong Kong, enriching future generations with sustainability knowledge. In the 2023/24 school year, we delivered 51 activities, engaging over 6,500 primary and secondary students. We offer these services free of charge to ensure more students understand the critical issues surrounding fashion waste. Your donations are vital in supporting our educational efforts and enabling us to reach more schools.
Upcoming: Next, we’re gearing up for our annual Get Redressed Month campaign in May, if your organisation is interested in taking part, sign up before the end of March and stay tuned for details of our next secondhand pop-up sale in June!
Thank you again for your donations.
Best wishes,
Colette Chan
