Hello friends,
As we move into the vibrant and sunny month of June, we’re excited to share some fantastic news and upcoming events with you!
To further raise awareness of the clothing waste issue, we organised an interactive exhibition “Redressing the Future: Circular Solutions for Fashion Waste” which is in its last week, held at the new DX Design Hub in Sham Shui Po - visit until the 16th June! Together, we can rethink our wardrobe choices and reduce textile waste.
This exhibition coincided with our 8th annual Get Redressed Month campaign — Hong Kong’s largest consumer awareness initiative on circular fashion. Under the theme “Your Clothes, Our Planet,” this year’s campaign highlighted the urgent need to address the fashion industry’s environmental impact amid the growing climate challenges Asia faces.

We worked with retailers, corporate and schools, allowing the Hong Kong public to easily participate by giving us their unwanted clothes during the campaign month with 71 collection points and collecting over 15 tonnes of clothing. This week our corporate partners will be joining Sort-a-thon — a three-day mass clothes sorting the good quality items for our multiple charity partners.
We’re also thrilled to announce the return of the Redress Secondhand Pop-up+ shop! From the 24th to 29th June, come and shop a curated collection of secondhand fashion, with all proceeds supporting Redress’ programmes. Alongside, we will also be selling sustainable designs from Redress Alumni Patrick Lam, Pearl Leung, Jasmine Leung, and Angus Tsui. Please help us spread the word and encourage friends and family to join this exciting opportunity to shop consciously and sustainably! Check out more information here.
Thank you for being part of this journey towards a circular fashion future! We look forward to sharing more exciting news with you.
Please do consider signing up for a small monthly donation to support our growing, important programmes!
Best Wishes,
Colette
