Dear donors,
Thank you for caring about the environment and the communities of Ankpa, Kogi State.
Years of deforestation and land degradation have left soils barren, biodiversity low, and communities struggling with poor crop yields. Families lack nutritious fruit, while climate risks like floods and droughts continue to rise. Planting fruit trees can restore the land, improve food security, and provide income for families, while also helping capture carbon and protect local wildlife.
This project aims to plant 5,000 fruit trees across 7 villages, train communities on tree care, and provide long-term benefits for both people and nature. The fruit trees will provide nutritious food, income opportunities, and a healthier environment for future generations.
We sincerely thank the donor who has already contributed, making a meaningful impact. At this time, however, the support received is not enough to get the project started. We hope that before the next rainy season, additional donations will allow us to begin this vital work.
To prospective donors, thank you for considering support. Every contribution helps restore forests, protect ecosystems, and provide families with food and income—creating lasting change for both people and the planet.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
