Charcoal Projects, we need to implement this project in camps that host war victims in Eastern DRCongo.
With the intensification of war in North Kivu and the generalized looting of whatever is available most of our equipment materials and the available charcoal were stolen, most of the people involved ran away into different directions in order to look for safety. As per now the Charcoal protect stopped.
But it is not yet the end because this project is among activities which are connected to climate adaptation and the protection of environment in the Democratic Republic of Congo, it also plays a big role in the protection of women against sexual violence and rape. What we are doing right now is to restructure the organization and its interventions, programs and offices in order to make more impact and to become more resilient.
We hope that next year our main offices will be relocated in Kinshasa, the Capital City of the Democratic Republic of Congo and this will help us to be more stable and active in the field.
Please continue supporting our cause because we need to start this project in other areas which have hosted war victims in DRC now.
