People of Ekkaduthangal , Manali, Velachery and Thambaram affected by flood in November , December 2015 are limping to normalcy as far as their daily wage earning activities are concern. They live in temporary shelters on the road sides. They have agreed to continue to send their children to school. For the past 18 months educational supports have been extended to flood affected children with donations received from friends through GobalGiving .
Kalaipattrai , the local NGO Partner has informed that 450 school going children need school bags , books , notebooks , guidebooks , water bottles Tiffin box. The estimation for each child comes to around 20 US Dollars. VOICE Trust makes appeal to friends to contribute through GlobalGiving.
VOICE Team is taking special steps to support children in flood affected families of Chennai during January and February 2018 for preparing exercise to face the annual examination scheduled in March and April 2018. VOICE Trust will share with friends and GlobalGiving about results.
