Dear Project Supporters
Did you know that over 300 million children worldwide are without shoes? Yes - foot wear is still needed globally and in Sierra Leone.
Walking barefooted puts the feet of children at critical risk of serious sicknesses from parasites, such as hookworms and threadworms. Their unprotected feet are additionally exposed to puncture wounds, scrapes, cuts and burns. These surface injuries are often inadequately treated, resulting in dangerous infections.
Together we were recently able to provide slippers for kids in the Door of Hope community. This brought a big relief to members in the community.
Thanks to YOUR support, these precious children are now able to walk safe. No more dangerous exposure to parasites and wounds. The kids are now walking safe - proudly, happily and comfortably. It's one less concern for the parents.
You earned one more victory. You again helped to make the world a better place! Thank YOU for helping to make this possible.
Best wishes
