Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE South Sudan) continues to support flood victims temporarily settled in Juba, with no plans to return to their home states. These displaced individuals face serious challenges, particularly shortages of food and non-food items. Among them, people with disabilities and the elderly are the most vulnerable. While several NGOs have provided support, the termination of U.S. funding under the Trump administration has created significant gaps in South Sudan. FACE anticipates increased challenges ahead and urgently calls for additional support to continue reaching the most vulnerable and meeting the growing humanitarian needs in these flood-affected communities.
