Meet with Kanta ......!!
My name is Kanta (Name Changed) and my age is 41 years. I live in remote village. I am involved with a women self-help group project run by the organization. There are 11 women in our group. Me and other women in the group faced a variety of problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many women were collectively engaged in small scale business, but all of that stopped due to corona virus. The organization provided loans at a very low interest rate to our group, which was used by women to open small-scale business, but that too was closed due to the corona pandemic. Me and my group women started having problem of ration. There was not even a piece of grain in the house.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan extended a helping hand to us. Ration kits and sanitation kits were distributed to me and the women of the group. Ration kits included lentils, flour, rice, salt, sugar and various types of spices, bathing and laundry soap, etc. The hygiene kit contained sanitizers, masks and sanitary napkins, which the female worker of the organization informed us about. They informed us about the use and importance of sanitary napkins and conveyed the regular use of sanitary napkins so that the women of the group could understand about them.
The ration kit given by the organization helped us and once again our stove started burning in the house. This ration kit will ensure our one month food supply. The hygiene kit will allow us to be safe from the pandemic. The organization informed us about the benefits of hygiene and the women of the group are regularly using masks, Sanitary napkins and sanitizers. All the women of the group express their heartfelt gratitude for this humanitarian relief of the organization.
