Meet with Ramkesh......!!
My name is Ramkesh (Name Changed). I am 36 years old. I live with my wife and two children in a hut in small village. I am disabled. In our society, in the thinking of some people, disabled people are considered a curse and are kept in isolation, that’s why people like me are not able to be a part of the mainstream of society. I am unable to work and also depend on others for my own work. Me and my family faced a lot of problems during the Corona period. After the closure of our small employment we were facing ration problem continuously. There was not ration left in our house to eat.
At such a time, the RSKS organization extended a helping hand to the disabled people of our village. Ration distribution was done to the disabled people under the Covid-19 ration distribution program run by the RSKS organization. Ration was given to me also. This ration kit fulfilled our ration need for 4 to 5 weeks. There was around 30 kg dry ration in ration kits containing flour, pulses, rice, spices, soybean, oil, salt, sugar etc. A hygiene kit was also given which included a hand sanitizer, masks, soap, handwash, etc. Me and my family was very happy with the ration kit and hygiene kit. We got this ration at a time when we needed it most and now , if the third wave comes, there is no need to worry because the RSKS organization is working for the poor people.
Now we will not have to spread our hands in front of anyone. We have got 4 to 5 weeks of food security and are getting two full meals on time. We were also made aware of Covid-19 by the organization. All disabled people express their gratitude to the organization also praise their work.
