There are many people who have to earn daily for their survival. These people have skills but their skills have less value in the society. Some of these people are the Ravana Effigy makers. These people wait for the Dussehra festival every year and start making Effigy before the festival each year but in the last year due to corona virus, they were unable to earn anything as the Dussehra festival was not celebrated last year due to lockdown imposed by the government. These Effigy makers have their family to feed but earning that much is very difficult task for them.
Watching all this situation, RSKS India came in between and organized Ration/Grocery and hygiene kit distribution program to the Ravana Effigy Makers. The ration kit contained all the necessary and healthy edible materials as well as the necessary food making materials like flour, rice, pulses, salt, oil, spices etc. The hygiene kit provided by RSKS India contained the essential hygiene materials like sanitary napkins, sanitizers, cloth masks, washing soap, bathing soap etc. This distribution program was done while following all the corona safety protocols like social distancing, wearing masks, regularly sanitizing or washing hands etc. At the end of the distribution program, all the Effigy makers were told about how to use the hygiene kit for the safety of their family and themselves.
The most important requirement i.e. “Food To Eat” of these people got fulfilled through the Ration/Grocery and hygiene kit distribution program of RSKS India. These effigy makers and their family is now having food security of 4 to 5 weeks and they will be able to eat healthy and delicious food. The hygiene kit will be helping these people and their family to remain hygienic during this pandemic. These people also got to know about the corona safety protocols. Now these people could sell their Ravana Effigy without any tension and RSKS India wishes everyone a very Happy Dussehra to Everyone.
