Meet with Komal......!!
I am a girl from remote village Kotaj. My name is Komal (Name Changed) age 12 years old. The family consists of parents and two sisters. Both the parents work as daily wage earners, which covers the household expenses. Since this lockdown, they are sitting unemployed at home and my education is getting interrupted due to the lockdown. Due to financial problem, I had lack of educational material due to which I was not able to study.
A helping hand was extended by RSKS Organization. RSKS Organization has been working on the development of girl child education from the last 28 years. In the same program, a survey was conducted by the organization for distribution of teaching materials and hygiene kits in Kotaj village. In which my name was also selected, I was given a teaching material kit by the organization, which had register, geometry, pen, pencil, sketch color set, drawing book, school bag, etc. Along with this, hygiene kit was also given in which sanitizer, soap, handkerchief, etc. were sanitary materials.
RSKS workers came home and took feedback and information as well as gave ration kit to my family in view of the financial constraints of the house. In this kit, flour, rice, gram dal, oil, spices, soap, soybeans, mangodi, etc. were items. Me and my family are very happy because now I have complete educational material so that I can study diligently and now my family members are getting two meals on time. I thank RSKS Organization for bringing happiness back to my family.
