Respected Donor !
RSKS India Family wishes you a Happy #GivingTuesday!
There are many nomadic, street and slum dwellers children who are unable to celebrate any festivals as they are busy through-out the year in their daily activities which are garbage collecting, taking care of siblings, selling something or working at any local shops etc. These children do live in the darkness and they are unable to see the city lights and festival celebrations. These children could not even celebrate the festival of light "Diwali" as they are busy earning for having daily meal. Their parents are also not able to celebrate the festival of light with their children as they are also busy working all day long in order to provide basic facilities to the children.
In this context, like every year this year also Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized the festival of light "Diwali" celebration program at 21 slum & street locations with 500 slum, street, nomadic and marginalized community children. In this festival, sweets, sherwani, Lehnga, Kurta dresses, firecrackers etc were being distributed to these slum and street children. The festival of light was celebrated with these children in order to bring light in their dark life. Candles and lamps were burned at their homes where no light is present on normal days. After this the firecrackers were also burned and all the children fed sweets to each other and their family members. Whole RSKS India family gave Diwali wishes to all these children and their family members.
Laughing, Joyful and marvelous are the words which the slum, marginalized, street and nomadic family members said about this program as this festival of light all these slum and street children celebrated the Diwali as the children living in the cities does. Also this celebration work done by RSKS India have them a hope in the darkness and also provided them some joyful moments. These children were very happy after getting the new dresses, sweets and firecrackers. All these children were very happy as this year candles and lamps were also burned at their house and they got a chance to fully enjoy the festival of light.
Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.
Many Regards
