Respected Donor Namaste!!
A Story of Disabled Chunna
My name is Chunna (Name Changed) and I am a disabled 44 years man. I live with my wife who is also a disabled and a son. Me and my wife both do hard work to earn for our livelihood and educate my son and meeting the household expenses. We faced the most tragic situation due to the pandemic as it was the time when we were not even able to have two times meal a day. We had all our savings finished due to the pandemic and after that it was very hard to earn. Our household expenses were partially met by the disabled pension we were getting and by going to daily wage.
At this crucial moment, some people from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan came to our house and did survey of our condition and told us that soon they will provide relief to us and people like us from our village and then went to another house of our village. After some time, my neighbor who was also selected in the survey told me that the RSKS team members are coming tomorrow to distribute Ration/Grocery kit. Then the next day, a pickup full of ration/grocery came to our village and then the RSKS team members took our name and arranged us to sit while following social distancing and then they distributed ration/grocery kit and also a hygiene kit to us which was a surprise to me and then explained everyone that how the hygiene kit must be used and what are its benefits.
I got very happy when I saw the ration/grocery kit and hygiene kit as it contained so many things like the grocery/ration kit contained flour, rice, pulses, sugar, oil, salt, spices etc essential materials and the hygiene kit contained cloth masks, sanitizers, cloth washing soap, vitamin c tablets, bathing soap etc. hygiene materials. When my wife saw all these materials, she said that “Humanity is still alive” as we didn’t expect this but RSKS team members secured our food security for 6 - 8 weeks and in the meantime, we can work harder without getting worried about the ration/grocery for the family and can start saving for the hard times. Me and my wife thank RSKS India team members and the donors from bottom of our heart.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, RSKS India would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them.
