Positive Changes in Life !!

By Team | RSKS India

Respected Donor Namaste!!

It is very hard in rural areas to get instant news as there are many rural areas where till now newspapers don’t reach and the only medium to get the latest news is by the people of the village who go out of the village, in the cities for employment. And in this corona pandemic, when the awareness about covid-19 is the first priority of everyone, these people living in the rural villages did not knew about the covid-19 safety protocols or about the covid-19 vaccination. These people were living their life normally while it was very necessary to follow the covid-19 protocols and have covid-19 vaccination so that they will not get the covid-19 virus.

In this context, RSKS India played its important role in raising awareness among these rural community through a new and amazing way of awareness. RSKS India made 500 wall paintings in around 75 inaccessible rural villages under the Covid-19 Awareness Wall Paintings program. These wall paintings were made on the walls of the schools, water tank, community garden, community halls etc. These paintings were made by the RSKS Team members and also the feedbacks of the rural people were also taken. In each village, more than SIX awareness wall paintings were made at different places in the village. These wall paintings consisted of the covid-19 safety protocols and about the covid-19 vaccination so that people living in these rural areas could understand about the severity of the virus and will be able to protect themselves from this pandemic. Also the team went to all the villages again to take feedback from the villagers as well as the passerby people.

These 500 awareness wall paintings at 75 different inaccessible areas helped and awared approx 1.5 lakhs people living in the rural areas as well as the passerby. These people came to know about the drastic effects of covid-19 and about the covid-19 safety protocols and covid-19 vaccination. These awareness wall paintings not only helped the rural people it also helped the passerby people. These wall paintings gave a firm reply to those who didn’t knew about the covid-19. These wall paintings were able to support in the vaccination drive of the nation as the rural people who got awareness through these wall paintings rushed to get there and their family’s vaccination done. These wall paintings will be giving awareness message to everyone whether it is a boy, girl, women, men or elderly people. All the rural people and the local administration thanked RSKS India for this amazing awareness initiative in their area.
