The harsh winter season poses a significant threat to the well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly those who lack shelter and reside on the streets. In Rajasthan, where temperatures can drop drastically during the winter months, a considerable number of individuals find themselves exposed to the elements, with no access to adequate warmth or protection. Among this group are the homeless, sleeping on footpaths without any means to shield themselves from the biting cold. The absence of proper shelter and warm clothing exposes them to various health risks, including hypothermia and respiratory illnesses. Recognizing this pressing issue, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan identified the urgent need to address the plight of these street people during the winter season.

To mitigate the challenges faced by the homeless during winter, RSKS India organized a Warm Blanket Distribution Program. The initiative aimed to provide warmth and protection to those who had no homes and were forced to sleep on the streets. The team distributed warm blankets to 250 individuals, offering a simple yet effective solution to combat the harsh weather conditions. The blankets served as a crucial barrier, shielding the recipients from the cold and enabling them to sleep more comfortably. The gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation from the beneficiaries, who expressed their heartfelt thanks to the RSKS India team for the warm and wonderful support provided.
