Dear friends,
We are sure many of you have been following the news coming out of Brazil this past year regarding unprecedented wildfires, increases in deforestation, and violence against indigenous and allied climate protectors.
While this has been a devasting year for Brazil's wildlife, wild places, and those who are trying to protect them, there is something we can do to help right now: plant trees. Over the past decade, FTPF's project with our partners in Brazil has seen amazing results in the communities where we have been working, with project participants reporting amazing changes in the local environments including cooler temperatures, a return of native bird populations, and, of course, plenty of fruit to eat!
We are determined to continue planting fruit trees in Brazil in order to fight climate change, deforestation, and stand up for the amazing biodiversity of this region. Please help us return to Brazil in 2020 by donating today and by sharing this fundraiser far and wide. Fruit trees have and will continue to provide a solution to so many of Brazil's pressing problems!
To a fruitful future,
The FTPF team
