In the Mococa region of Brazil, local communities are facing escalating environmental threats. Rising temperatures, prolonged dry spells, and heavy, erratic rains have led to increased soil erosion and rapid water runoff, making life more difficult for families in both rural and urban areas.

Through our long-standing partnership with the local environmental group Olho d’Água, we have worked to turn these challenges into opportunities. Together, we have transformed Mococa into a city defined by its canopy. This project has successfully:

While this is one of our longest-running and most successful projects, the demand for more trees remains high. We are eager to return to Brazil to meet the continued need for food-producing forests, but we are currently facing a significant lack of funding for this specific program.
