Growing Kindness in Rural Uganda

By Victoria | Founder and President, Save Children of Mbale

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Over the past three months, thanks to your continued generosity, Ethical Vegan’s Communityhas made inspiring strides in promoting veganism, sustainable agriculture, and compassion toward animals in rural Uganda.

 Farming with Purpose
This planting season, we supported
30 local farmers with seeds and sustainability education. We're thrilled to share that many have successfully harvested their crops — including cassava, climbing beans, carrots, bananas, maize, tomatoes, and more. These efforts not only provide food security but also strengthen our cruelty-free, plant-based vision.

 New Partnership for Greater Impact
We’re excited to announce our new partnership with
Plenty Food Netherlands, who have generously provided vegetable seeds for 8 farmers and are joining us in the creation of a regional seed bank — a big step toward long-term resilience for plant-based farming in the region.

 Healing with Compassion
Thanks to your support, we were able to offer free treatment to animals in need. One heartwarming success: a beautiful cow who came to us with a serious skin infection is now
healthy, thriving, and joyful. Her recovery is a living reminder of why this work matters.

 What We Need Next
To continue this momentum, we're currently in need of
garden tools to equip our farmers and help them build thriving, cruelty-free farms. Your continued support ensures we can meet this need and reach even more communities.

 Thank You
None of this would be possible without your kindness. Your donations are helping us fight cruelty, empower farmers, and create a more compassionate world.

Together, let’s continue planting seeds of kindness — for animals, for people, and for the planet.

With gratitude,

Victoria, Save Children of Mbale
