Thank you for your unwavering support in our mission to protect Australia’s unique wildlife and their precious habitats. Your contributions are making a significant impact, especially during these critical times.
As cities expand, natural habitats for wildlife are rapidly shrinking. Heatwaves and bushfires pose additional threats, endangering both animals and their habitats.
Our project focuses on three key pillars: Safeguarding critical habitats and creating safe havens for wildlife. Raising awareness about conservation and the importance of preserving the Australian bush. Being prepared to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife during fires.
We’ve successfully translocated 13 endangered mammal species into protected, feral predator-free sanctuaries. Collaboration with Traditional Owners, Indigenous Rangers, communities, and corporations strengthens our impact.
AWC manages Australia’s largest network of safe havens—47,700 hectares of feral predator-free landscapes. Within these areas, we’ve reintroduced 19 mammal species, reversing declines and restoring ecosystems.
