In Rajasthan, India, some tribal traditions force girls as young as 13 into commercial sex work. iPartner India's Rakshan program, started in 2018, engages 10,000+ people to break this cycle through safe spaces and education. Despite progress, some minor girls are still forced into the sex trade. We urgently need $20,700 to rescue 23 girls, covering their safe rescue, shelter, care, and schooling. Join us to give these girls a safe future, free from exploitation, through education and support.
In Rajasthan's certain tribal communities, girls from 24 villages face trafficking risks. Despite iPartner India's efforts through education and empowerment through project Rakshan, some are coerced by families into the sex trade, ending up exploited in Mumbai's dance bars and lodges. This persistent challenge highlights the need for urgent rescue interventions to protect these vulnerable girls from commercial sexual exploitation and break the cycle of trafficking.
iPartner India partners with experts for rescue operations, using intelligence to track girls and report to authorities. The process involves child welfare coordination, safety measures, and logistics to rescue and return girls to homes or shelters. The Rescue Fund aims to save 23 girls, with $5,000 already raised. We hope to raise the remaining funds through Global Giving community to bridge the gap, ensuring safety, rehabilitation, and a chance for these girls to heal and rebuild.
Your contribution will help rescue more girls, breaking the cycle of exploitation in Rakshan's villages. By providing safety, rehabilitation, and education, we empower them to reclaim their futures, fostering a generation free from trafficking. This strengthens iPartner India's mission to create safe spaces, ensuring no girl is left behind. Together, we can build a lasting, equitable future where these girls thrive, transforming communities for generations to come.
