This past quarter, 310 trafficked women and 180 children residing in Mumbai’s red light districts have been helped. The women and children have benefited from counseling, pre-primary and remedial classes, medical interventions, feeding programs, fun clubs, and weekly gatherings. The women living in the red light districts yearn for hope and freedom and have expressed a desire for their children to be safe.
Renuka is one of the people your gifts are helping. She's a cute 5-year-old girl. Her mom is a sex worker, and Renuka was born and raised in Mumbai's red light districts. She was constantly surrounded by violence and abuse.
But thanks to you, Renuka is now living in a better place. She's in a safe home. Your gift is providing food, clothing, counseling, and an education.
