2022 is off to a great start!
Thanks to your support, Rescuing Leftover Cuisine's mission is expanding quickly. So far this year, RLC surpassed 8 million pounds of food rescued, attended the ReFED 2022 Food Waste Solutions Summit, and held our Spring Gala, which gave us an opportunity to highlight our hard-working branches, the wonderful nonprofit recipients we partner with, and even show off a cooking demonstration for the folks at home who are fighting food waste in their own kitchens by making meals with their personal leftovers.
Your support is helping provide meals for people struggling to maintain food security and reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions resulting from food waste. To date, we have provided over 6.5 million meals and prevented over 3 million pounds of carbon dioxide from entering our atmosphere. Thank YOU for making the work we do possible.
