Dear beloved friends,
Ebola marks an important public health milestone, but it also marks the beginning of a new chapter focused on preparedness, resilience, and regional cooperation.
The lessons learned throughout the response are now helping strengthen community health systems that will continue protecting families long after the outbreak has ended.
Across Uganda's western border, however, the Democratic Republic of the Congo continues responding to a major Ebola outbreak that has infected more than 3,200 people.
The continued transmission highlights the importance of sustained investments in surveillance, community engagement, infection prevention, and rapid response throughout the region.
Thanks for being our amplifier and sharing our projects with friends and family.
