HWHL is pleased to share with you all the things we are thankful for this spring:
Goals for 2018 include adding a vaccinator, administrator, 12 health volunteers, 2 nurses aids, and ambulance driver to our staff. We also plan to complete our lab and hope to set up our dental clinic.
In June, Asbury UMC shipped several "Barrels of Love" to HWHL in Liberia. Special thanks to the kind people of Asbury UMC.
In August, 277 patients were treated at the clinic, including 163 new visits and 60 revisits. Malaria continues to be the #1 illness treated at the clinic followed by RTI (cough).
In October, HWHL held its Annual Board Member Retreat in Texas. Strategies for the on-going success of HWHL discussed and plans were developed to achieve them
We have so much to be thankful for at HWHL! As always, we thank you for your continued financial support and prayers as we continue to focus on our mission of HWHL to promote the health of the people and educate patients through Comprehensive, Sustainable, Community-Based Primary Healthcare.
