We were honored have Liberian Nobel Laureate, Leymah Gbowee visit our Waterfield Clinic last quarter. Leymah is best known for leading a nonviolent movement that brought together Christian and Muslim women to play a pivotal role in ending Liberia’s devastating, fourteen-year civil war in 2003. Read her autobiography Mighty Be Our Powers to learn more of her inspiring story.
We are thrilled that the new Maternity/Surgical building has been completed and supplies are being shipped to make it fully operational. Donations are greatly appreciated to get this life-saving facility up and running.
