At Joy for Children Uganda, we have seen how unpredictable rains, floods, and cold weather are affecting children and their education. Many children struggle to reach school safely, and their daily routines are often disrupted by damaged roads, flooded areas, and harsh weather conditions.
Despite these challenges, children show remarkable resilience and determination. Our programs continue to focus on ensuring access to education, supporting communities to keep children in school, and providing guidance so that learning can continue even when circumstances are difficult.
We also emphasize climate awareness and adaptation, helping children understand how environmental changes can affect their communities and equipping them with knowledge to navigate these challenges. Through this, they are not only learning their lessons but also developing resilience, resourcefulness, and hope for the future.
At Joy for Children Uganda, we are committed to making sure that education continues, even in the face of floods, cold spells, and unpredictable weather. Every day, we witness courage and determination as children return to school, ready to learn and shape brighter futures.
