Fondation Tous Ensemble’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Lab in Les Cayes continues to operate as the only specialized facility providing prosthetic and orthotic services in Haiti’s southern departments. In a context where access to rehabilitation services remains extremely limited, the lab plays a vital role in restoring mobility, independence, and dignity for children and adults living with disabilities.

Key Achievements

Total consultations: 3,792
Children: 583 consultations
Adults: 3,127 consultations

New evaluations: 245 clinical evaluations and 22 psychological evaluations

Orthotic Services

175 orthotic devices fabricated
2 orthotic devices repaired
8 measurements conducted
10 fittings completed

Prosthetic Services

6 prostheses fabricated
20 prostheses repaired
8 measurements conducted
13 fittings completed

Assistive Devices

12 devices donated to patients
18 devices loaned to patients in need

Clubfoot Program

97 total interventions
36 casting sessions
25 brace fittings
11 tenotomies

Community Outreach and Training

3 mobile rehabilitation clinics were conducted in underserved communities reaching 102 patients.
Stroke (ACV) training: 34 participants
Parent training on child development and rehabilitation: 33 participants

Community Inclusion and Awareness

On December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, FONTEN organized an amputee football match, bringing together athletes and community members. The event attracted more than 300 spectators, helping promote visibility, dignity, and inclusion for people living with disabilities.
At the end of the year, FONTEN also hosted a Christmas celebration for children and families receiving services, with 51 children and their families participating, creating an important moment of community support and joy.

Through sustained service delivery, outreach, and community engagement, Fondation Tous Ensemble continues to restore mobility, independence, and hope for individuals living with disabilities across southern Haiti. Each orthosis, prosthesis, and rehabilitation intervention contributes to greater participation in education, work, and community life.
