Quarterly Report Summary (October 2025–January 2026)
KADO continues to acknowledge and appreciate all partners and donors who have made remarkable contributions toward supporting the retention of orphaned girl children in schools in Uganda. This report covers project activities implemented during October 2025–January 2026.
During this period, the project supported caretakers of orphaned girls with agricultural inputs, distributed scholastic materials and reusable sanitary pads to in-school adolescent orphaned girls, and conducted school monitoring visits. The project team monitored learners in schools to confirm the number who reported for Term I of the 2026 academic year, in order to plan for the provision of scholastic materials and other necessary support for the term.

Recommendations
KADO therefore requests continued support from all stakeholders to enhance girls’ education in Uganda. Access to education for vulnerable girls remains low, and early pregnancies, child marriages, and school dropouts are still prevalent among them. Strengthened collaboration and increased funding are essential to address these challenges effectively.
