Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,

It’s our pleasure to announce that we have launched the 1st series of learning basic wheelchair skills for wheelchair users in Egypt & the MENA region who speak Arabic. Soon we will start our one to one training sessions of Occupational Therapy to help wheelchair users and persons who suffer from spinal cord injuries to adapt to their new condition and be physically independent.

Surely we knew that there are several videos on Youtube that offer this service, but it’s in English or other foreign languages. Yet there are many wheelchair users in Egypt and the MENA region only speak Arabic. So we decided to take it upon ourselves to produce this wheelchair basic skills Video tutorials in Arabic to be available for all wheelchair users in this area of the world so we can help them live the life of an active wheelchair user, and protect his/her muscles from being idle. Please check the link below to know more about it:

With the support of the Ministry of technology & communications in Egypt, We produced and distributed tens of CDs for free to assist wheelchair users to learn how to adapt to their new life more efficiently. Through producing these 27 episodes that every wheelchair user can practice all its featured techniques to be physically independent, and live their life as they want without needing permanent assistance.

These videos and one to one training sessions help wheelchair users be more physically independent, which helps in making them eligible for getting jobs, playing sports, and becoming the best version of themselves.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support. We urge you to continue supporting our cause and stay loyal donors to our cause through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation option. That will help wheelchair users in Egypt be more confident and accomplished. Please visit our Facebook page to read other success stories:
