Dear all Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers & supporters,

It’s our pleasure to announce we are now approaching different partners to help us offer more effective solutions for wheelchair users to practice & learn basic wheelchair skills that can help them be physically independent.

Our target in the 1st phase of our In person solution of this program is to:

  • Offering monthly one to one training sessions that provide "Learning Activities of Daily Living as well as Occupational Therapy“ for 200 persons with disabilities as 1st batch (Ongoing project).
  • Holding this therapy program will enable wheelchair user (applicant) to gain upper-body strength and improve his/her posture, learn basic wheelchair skills, and develop unexpected independence. They will be able to dress themselves, deal with an equipped car, and move & live independently.
  • Our vision is to let wheelchair users live the concept of (YES I CAN!)

Our target in the 1st phase of our Online/Offline solution of this program is to:

  • Online solution (YouTube): Wheelchair users can check our Youtube channel online to view & practice video tutorials for learning basic wheelchair skills.
  • Offline solution (Mobile App): Wheelchair users will be able to watch the 25 episodes of Rise up (Our OT tutorials) OFFLINE.
  • Provide users with the availability of search option to find what they want through tags or key words and communicate with other users & trainers for their convenience.
  • These episodes includes exercises to gain upper-body strength and improve the wheeler’s posture, learn basic wheelchair skills, deal with an equipped car, and move & live independently.
  • To be Available on Android & iOS (bilingual).

We urge you to continue supporting our cause and stay loyal donors to our cause through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation option.
