Thank you for your Donation

Dear Alhassan Foundation’s friends, believers and supporters,

Thanks to your generous donations we were able to offer the much needed physical, psychological and social empowering services to our beneficiaries.

By supporting Alhassan Foundation’s “Rise Up” Project, we can help children with disabilities overcome barriers and achieve their educational dreams. The scholarship is designed to promote inclusivity and provide opportunities across all educational levels.

This scholarship comes as part of Alhassan Foundation’s Academic Rehabilitation Service, under the umbrella of the “Rise Up” Project. Through this program, the Foundation supports students with disabilities by providing everything they need to pursue their education with confidence and independence.

Our story today is about…

Rashad Essam, a 19-year-old from Cairo, was born with cerebral palsy, a condition that affected his movement and speech. In August 2021, he joined Alhassan Foundation, and soon after, he received an electric wheelchair that gave him the freedom to move independently.

Against all odds, Rashad scored 89% in his high school final exams (literary section) and earned a place at Cairo University’s Faculty of Mass Communication.

Last year, Rashad benefited from an Alhassan Foundation scholarship that covered his accommodation, transportation, and all his university needs — including a laptop, notebooks, and more. Scholarships like this are especially important for students with disabilities, as they lift the financial and practical burdens that often stand in the way of pursuing higher education. They provide not only resources, but also hope and equal opportunity.

Today, we proudly celebrate his determination, his success, and his continued scholarship through the Academic Rehabilitation Program. Rashad’s story is a powerful reminder that with perseverance and the right support, dreams can come true.

We want to thank every donor or supporter who helps us to achieve this success and we urge you to continue supporting us in our cause, our hope, our dream through subscribing to monthly donation which helps us secure enough funds to help more wheelchairs users and their families.
