Happy news our enthusiastic donor; we are preparing to broaden the impact of our promising initiative Rise Up to be a national initiative. Moving independently is a key factor towards well balanced humans with different abilities

During the past few months your contribution helped us to work on one of our important projects to launch an Arabic version of the very impactful book “Life on Wheels”. This book is like a manual for wheelchair users to deal with their new challenges after their spinal cord injury. Even those who were born paraplegic after adopting the OT that is presented in Rise Up tutorials will learn how to be fully independent. We intend to launch this book by the end of December 2017 to start 2018 with this gift for all wheelchair users in Arabic-speaking countries.

Investing in your donations, we produced 3000 CDs hold more than 27 Occupational Therapy video tutorials to distribute them to wheelchair users to learn how to adapt to their new life. Enforcing “CAN - DO” attitude among all the wheelchair users is a main objective at Alhassan Foundation. We believe in the powers within every human-being.

One of our first trainees in this initiative told us how he felt great after finishing his OT program. He said that he felt empowered, independent, and no more disabled. In other words, providing all the required tools to allegedly disabled person to be differently abled person can totally depend on his/her own self.
