Dear friends,
The start of a new year brings new opportunities to impact our beneficiaries. The year 2020 was very particular and challenging period, nevertheless, we are grateful for the support we received from you. Currently, 63 donors have supported our call, allowing us to reach a 52% of our original financial target.
During the past year, as much as we wanted to execute training workshops for young women with disabilities, the situation made it difficult for us to implement face-to-face robotics workshops without risking our beneficiaries. However, with the start of 2021, we expect that the chances of implementing new training workshops will improve.
At the same time, our technical team has been working on adapting our training programs from face-to-face modalities to virtual and at-distance modes to benefit young women with disabilities. To fulfill this commitment, we are going to start training young women with disabilities through adapted virtual courses on STEM-related matters.
We greatly appreciate all of your support during these demanding times, helping us improve the quality and equity of educational opportunities for young women with disabilities.
