Dear friends and donors,
We are happy to announce that your support to our “Robotics for Young Women with Disabilities” project will allow us to plan and execute again face-to-face training workshops. Updated, more flexible health measures in Costa Rica now permit bringing a group of young women with mild cognitive disabilities to the Fundación Omar Dengo´s laboratories to learn about robotics.
We are expecting to set up a group of at least 12 young women for a face-to-face training workshop, that will take place between mid-August and early September, 2022. This number of beneficiaries responds to maximum occupancy according to health regulations at FOD´s laboratories. We will make sure that all of the young women participating in the training workshop will have a blast, but at the same time, making sure that they are on a safe environment too.
We want to thank you once again for supporting our cause of bringing educational opportunities to underserved populations in Costa Rica. We are sure that these educational experiences will empower these young women to achieve their goals in the future.
Please, make sure to share the "Robotics for Young Women with Disabilities" project with friends and peers across your networks!
