Room Coolers for Orphanages

It is mid April and the heat is turning in Karachi. Already, it's hard to be outdoors during day hours and soon the weather will be scorching. Right now, it is the month of Ramadan and and the majority of the country is fasting including the orphans. The heat is dehydrating and can even be dehabilitating. 

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to gift premium cooling agents - room coolers - to orphanages which don't have air conditioners and where typically 16-24 kids share a room.

"It's like heaven on my face," shares 6 year old Bina (name changed, words translated from Urdu). 

"Thank you so much. It's so much more better for sleeping," adds 12 year old Usman (name changed, words translated from Urdu). 

This is all thanks to your kindness and large heart.

It's Christmas time, but Karachi is a desert that is still very hot. Orphanages approached us for room coolers for their small children.  We started this campaign beginning with 18 room coolers for 3 different orphanages.  All thanks to you! Now, we're eager to expand. 

Alizeh (name changed) is 6. She always finds it hot, humid and sticky in her bedroom, which he shares with 18 other girl orphans.  When we installed the room cooler, she couldn't stop speaking in wonder of the cool breeze. "It's like ice cream, like magic."
