BEDS had given us native hen, sheep and duck. We have prepared Agrofarm and doing various agriculture activities such as duck and hen farming, vegetable cultivation, sheep rearing etc. In the region of Sundarbans males collect honey from Sundarbans. After collection of honey, they come home. Then they are busy with further processing and preservation of honey. But the wax is not used by them. Now ae are trying to use the wax for preparing various sculpture of various animals such as tiger, turtle, dolphin, birds, crocodiles etc. It helps to create a alternative livelihood and we are earning more money through selling it.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
We would like to thank all our donors for being so kind to us so far. We are requesting all our kind donors to start monthly recurring donation. For recurring donation, please visit the following link;
