Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working relentlessly for the welfare of southwestern coastal region people for improving income, make sure solvency in family and to confirm safe drinking water for healthy life. BEDS was taken an initiative to form Sundarbans Resource Harvesters Cooperatives Society. This society have cow, poultry, integrated farming, tourist facilities and cottage dormitory services etc. Among this, sheep rearing is one of them and this sheep helps the cooperative member economically but this moment temperature of Bangladesh is 42 degree that is too much tough to tolerate for every human and nature. Cooperative member is rearing this sheep and also care about that. They are cutting the woolly of sheep so that they can get relief from hot weather and also cooperative get economic benefit from the woolly.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
