Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working relentlessly for the conservation of ecology, socio economic development by maintaining ecological balance. To improve the socio-economic condition of local community people who are directly or indirectly depend on natural resource of forest are working for them. In this mission, BEDS developed a cooperatives society where different types of activities were performed by the members like integrated farming, solar energy, safe drinking water supply, storage of seed bank and different types of product production through this cooperative members. Among this activities, rearing of king swan is one of them and by generating new infant of swan, increase the number swan. By rearing this, Cooperatives are more benefited by this swan. So, swan make them little bit king.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
