Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working for the cooperatives in a sustainable way. Like, in this concept community people works for the cooperatives production including mangrove-based production, integrated farming, responsible tourism etc. Among these activities, benefit shared among the members and earn money by this local community women who was fully housewife. Among this event, naturally production of vegetable on of them. They are using cow dung and kitchen garbage for organic fertilizer production. Result of this, generate healthy vegetable. BEDS wants to upscaling this initiative among the community so that everyone can enjoy the organic vegetable and lead healthy life.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
