AHD Pakistan working for the flood affected areas and share update regular basis to all of you regarding the targets and activities planned for the flood affected areas.
AHD again wants to share new ToT (Training of Trainers) with all of you to make Green Pakistan and reduce the cutting and burning of trees and wood, about 50% wood save, smoke free and utensils not blackish.
AHD helping poor and flood victims to make Pakistan Green and save climate, during this quarter AHD will reach 3,000 rural poor families to learn this cooking stove technology and save 50% wood, time and improve health of rural women

Climate Change may hinder the arrival of monsoon in Pakistan Almost 50 percent of the land area of Pakistan is at the risk of getting affected just because of climate change. Due to this severe condition AHD spreading the awareness and giving trainings about sustainable initiative which named is Fuel Efficient Stove taking a part to save the environment from harmful impacts. Before the installation of Fuel Efficient Stove Women using wood for cooking purposes will inhale smoke during cooking and subsequently damage their health, hygiene and environment. Wood used for cooking purposes also results in the loss of trees, which directly effects climate change. Fuel Effiecient cooking stoves which is efficient in working as well as well as reduced the consumption of wood and dual stoves operates at the same time. it consumes 50% less wood more than 165,000 cooking stove have been installed by AHD team. It saves daily 825,000 kg wood from burning. In 12 months 9,900,000 kg and 2,475,500 mounds woods are saving through fuel efficient stove. Its the big contribution by AHD to save the lives from harmful effects of climate change.

Rehabilitation of Flood affected areas is the challenge to restart normal life of about 33 million people after floods displaced from their homes / villages. AHD Pakistan helping these flood affected families with rehabilitation with model Tree Plantation, Safe drinking Nadi filter, Cooking stove for rural women and kitchen gardening in these rural areas, let us join hands to support this project and enable us to reach more and more people with these Climate Change activities.
