We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and also spent a very good New year. We wish you and yours' the very best for 2016.
This ime we would to share with you the testimony of one of our volunteer who has been very active at AGAPE lately. She is called Anjana.
“Christmas as we all know is that time of the year where we all enjoy sharing, giving and spreading joy with all! This year I had the privilege to experience and spread the love and joy and experience the same with our AGAPE family.
I joined AGAPE family in November and decided that I should spend Christmas in a special way and AGAPE gave me the right opportunity to spread this love.
We decided to make “11th of DEC 2015”a special one. The entire Agape center was decorated with balloons and lights. The Christmas tree looked spectacular with colorful decoration. We started our celebrations at 4:00pm, when the kids were back from school and were all excited to celebrate this day.
We started by singing Christmas carols in French as well as in English. The kids joined in with us. Later the kids dragged everyone present to dance, it was fun to all of us as well as the kids..It was that time for the presents, where the kids were overwhelmed when they saw soccer shoes and other goodies.
Of course we had to end the day with a wonderful feast prepared byRuth. Rice, chicken, salad was so yummy that the kids enjoyed it .We cannot end the day without cake; Chocolatecupcakes were served and all of us relished it.
This has been the best Christmas ever and this couldn’t be possible with the support of my friend Alissonand of Course your donations via Global Giving, Agape volunteers and the kids. We hope in 2016, we will continue to brighten even more their lives."
