A Women CBO Leader working safe & secure in rural Kenya during COVID-19
AHD in links with no of CBOs and one of CBO near slum Ksumu village, A lady working as CBO President and helping their 60 women with daily food supply. AHD helping this project and this group developed seed bank and small plant for flour making to share weekly food package to nearly 60 women.
AHD very much interested in future to keep supporting this project, during this COVID – 19 crises and long shutdown in Kenya affected these women groups, we want to give your attention towards this groups and AHD also want to help more people with support if we get handsome support through this project.

Brave & empowered lady working for women CBO in Kisumu Slums
AHD started work in Kenya during the visit of 5 to 20 Feb 2019 and during my first visit I meet Yuanita Brave & Empowered lady working for slum women and organized widow women CBO and helping hundreds of slum area women with food and shelter and education. AHD helped them with skills of Nadi filter and support for their women CBO and impressed on the leadership of this lady. The women CBO has lands and they all cultivating crops and vegetables.
This lady helps their widow women and support them with all necessary items of food, ration and other needs, AHD is very happy upon this lady who make possible of the survival of some 55 widow women in Slum area.
AHD supporting this group and looking to help them with Tractor with implements that cost some 20,000 US $, we hope someone will support us to help these women CBO.

30 women earning via cultivating crops, vegetable & fruits on their lands
Women empowerment is big issue at everywhere and women usually struggle to save their future or earn something for their children or families. AHD doing very hard to empower women focusing their skill development, start of small level entrepreneurs and income generations, in Kenya AHD helping different groups via sharing skill and helping young women with socio economic support.
Next quarter AHD will select 25 more women and help them to be economic secure and safe towards to enjoy their life.
