Construction of a Rainwater Harvesting System (SCALL)—featuring a 52,000-liter panel-built cistern—was recently completed at Kindergarten No. 192 in Concepción del Bermejo, Chaco. The project was made possible through a collaborative effort involving Educational Region No. 3, the Bermejo Municipality, and families from the school community. Today, the school has a safe water source that resolves a long-standing issue of limited access to the resource, benefiting a community of 120 families.
An official inauguration ceremony was held, attended by the entire school community, the mayor, city council members, and local media. Teachers and children presented a play to celebrate the arrival of water at the school, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and recognition for the volunteers who participated in the project.
These events reflect an impact that goes beyond the physical infrastructure: access to safe water strengthens community ties and transforms the daily lives of hundreds of families. Thanks to the support of our donors, projects like this are possible—and we continue working to bring safe water to more school communities across Argentina.
