Changes: Our project partners in Vietnam have been undergoing a reorganization in their division -- this has consumed their time and efforts for the past few months. But the new organizational structure is settling in and and it's now time to get back to field work on water projects.
In October twenty more water treatment systems will be installed in rural schools in Thua Thien - Hue province. These are the same water filter systems that have proven so reliable in the past.
The teachers at the schools really like these systems for their reliability and ease of use. Teachers from schools without treatment systems beg us to "please make my school next on your list".
Most important, the kids now have access to safe drinking water during their school day.
I will be visiting schools in November and will post some photos of the water treatment systems and the kids the systems serve.
If we receive additional donations, we will increase the 20 systems to include more schools.
