The community dining room carries out a very important activity for the community.
In general, the people who attend the RISING CHRIST DINNING carry out work that in some way helps them survive, for example, recycling bottles or temporary jobs in places where it is required. They show us in occasions that, because they are elderly, they don’t get called by any type of work so they choose to recycle bottles, cardboard or paper. Many of them only have one meal a day, the same as the one provided through the dining room. Currently the dining room has 31 people who attend every day. We work hard to open even during the school holidays.
The dining room doors are open for all people who require this help, being more than a place Just to eat we become a home, a real family. Where day after day in the midst of any circumstance we seek to support each other.
The story of these people is moving and helps us understand the importance and the fundamental role that the COMMUNITY DINING ROOM plays, how they express day by day their gratitude for those who make up the dining room and who made this beautiful work possible for the benefit of those in need.
