Training against child sexual abuse for a community with cognitive disorders, such as autism, Down’s syndrome and learning disabilities.
The objective of the training is to identify what types of experiences they have had so far, and to teach them how to prevent sexual abuse, but also how not to turn into abusers themselves, since because of their conditions, many of them engage sexuality as a way to vent stress, without realizing they can either become abusers or be abused.
As a Foundation we seek to be inclusive, and our objective is to teach strategies of prevention in the care of minors and people who require support. This is why we will continue sending out proposals for the sexual abuse prevention workshops to institutions that deal with population of cognitive disabilities.
