These months we have had a very special approaching to the Institución Educativa Yermo Y Parres, in the Comuna 16 (Bethlehem neighborhood) in Medellin, where the workshop “TRUTHS ABOUT THE ABUSE” regarding Children Sexual Abuse was delivered to more than 60 parents.
Also, at 20 de Julio, La Quiebra, La Pradera and Villa Laura neighborhoods we socialize the workshops on Prevention to an average of 30 people in each place counting children and parents from the Comuna 13 in Medellin, localities where there are huge family issues, the most of them Venezuelan families, that have no a place where to leave their children while working, exposing them to strange people to look after them.
It is a catastrophic mistake for the families, to even consider that these issues can be underestimated. Before the continuing increase on children sexual abuse, we cannot lower ones ´guard, and this is why is so important that both, children and parents can be able to train themselves on the prevention programs being offered by the Fundación Tiempo de Paz.
